About Shervani Inter College

Shervani Inter College, founded by lieutenant colonel Mustafa Rasheed Shervani in 1948 with a view mainly to provide quality based education to those children who are lacking in each kind of amenities. The school started functioning from Junior High School in the first phase and then moved up to standard 10th in 1952. Later it was upgraded to +2 level in 1957 in art stream, in 1962 in science stream and +2 level in 1987 in commerce stream, in 1962 in science stream.

Shervani Inter College is affiliated to the U.P. Board of Secondary Education. It is flourishing in the heart of Patit Pawni, the Ganges. It is situated at Bareilly-Mathura road about 32 miles from Kasganj near railway station N.E.R. Manpur Nagaria.

The college has a grand building with 28 rooms and one hall, lush green campus, a modern Bio-Chemistry lab and a wellequipped computer lab. The school Provides coeducation to nearly 2000 students from remote areas imparting free education to all students under the Govt. rule, "Free and Compulsory Education"

The talented and trained teachers make effort to provide education and illuminate the minds and souls of the students with the light of knowledge and enduring human values so that they may become good and responsible citizens not only of our country but of the world as well. The school has a good learning environment. The dedicated teachers inspire the students to achieve the highest possible academic standards while focussing the needs of the individual.

At the time of begining the school was founded in the watery region of Kasganj.

Shervani Family decided to setup a factory in Neoli and acted accordingly in the interior of Etah district. By the tireless striving of Shervani Family the school was estabilshed for promoting education among poor and uneducated family of peasants. A school was started and after a short period it was affilated by U.P. Board Allahabad. It is situated alongside highway of Mathura-Pilibhit. By and by it has been progressing since then and now it occupies "A" grade by the state Government. It has 30 teachers. Most of the teachers are serving after getting appointment by U.P. Madhyamik Siksha Seva Chayan Board Allahabad. All the teachers are well qualified. The college has 08 Lectures, 12 Lt. teachers and 03 Formal teachers serving under P.T.A.

To erect good citizens for our country India is our mission. I hope and pray that our college will be a model school not only for academic excellance but also for it's value-based education without any discrimination of Caste, Creed and Religion.

The school inculcates a healthy confidence in the minds of the young students to face strong challenges in their way to success. The school is also committed to provide equal and proper opportunities for the students to participate in the competitive world of Sports, General Knowledge and General awareness, Reasoning, Vocal and Physical activities and so more.
